These hankies are made from the Lace Embroidery Full Blossom Collection. They were designed for a hanky swap I recently participated in.
For perfect corner placement, I first sewed the alignment run stitch on water soluble stabilizer. Then the hanky was placed so the corner of the hanky just covered the corner of the alignment line. It was pinned in place then the lace embroidery was sewn on the hanky and the stabilizer.
The stabilizer was rinsed away and the hankies were pressed and ready to go.
